LiteSide, established in 2006 and based in Amsterdam, presents and promotes innovative oriental fusion arts and culture focusing on crossing the boundaries of art forms within a wide range of disciplines. We are constantly researching the artistic language of the new culture of big cities constantly in development thanks to influences from each wave of immigration. Our activities include cross-cultural cooperation, talent development, events, productions and festivals. LiteSide is the initiator and Producer of Shimmy Shake, and now 5 Spices.
West End Art
This is the name of Natasja van ‘t Westende’s own organsiation from which she operates as a freelance arts manager, project and program maker, researcher and fundraiser. She is also Director of Dancing on the Edge Festival promoting artistic exchange with the Middle East and North Africa.
RADION Amsterdam is a new cultural venue in the capital of Holland. The location used to be the Faculty of Dentistry of VU University Amsterdam (ACTA) but got abandoned 4 years ago. The former student restaurant and lecture hall got transformed into a cultural venue for day and night programming. Through a club/concert hall, bar, restaurant, cinema and exposition area RADION will bring people together and stimulate creativity. A place for dancing, live-music, theatre, art, exhibitions, performances, food markets, debates & lectures and other creative get-togethers and much more.
