Central to all of German Popovʼs work is establishing contact once again with the ancient sources and prototypes of modern culture that he sees as having been lost. For this reason he regularly incorporates ethnographic and anthropological data in his artistic activities. A lot of his work in various events has focused on the topic of Central Asia - an area where he is often to be found. Under his stage name OMFO he has published a lot of his music, gaining a great deal of international popularity. Lately his creative activities are more and more in delving into psychoacoustic and multi-sensorial experiments, which has led him to initiating and staging the Ψ-garden.
